To the students, families, educators, and communities of PGCPS District 7: Earlier today, Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III announced Phase Two of his administration's signature initiative - the Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative (TNI). TNI focuses on several communities within Prince George's County and directs governmental services to revitalize and enhance education, public safety, healthcare and many other quality of life pillars. Today, three new TNI locations were announced and I am extremely happy to report that two of these locations are in Board of Education District 7 -Forestville and Silver Hill! These two TNI locations join the Hillcrest-Marlow Heights and Suitland-Coral Hills TNI locations, which will continue. As the Board of Education Member for District 7, I will continue to work with the County Executive and all other local, state, and federal governmental leaders who are seriously focused on building A Better Tomorrow, Today, for Prince George's County! Through intentional partnership, I will make sure the Forestville and Silver Hill communities see more county government services in their neighborhood schools - including services centered around healthcare, as well as family and social services. While a specific list of schools has not been released yet, I will be reaching out and advocating as best I can for District 7! Please join me in sending a huge thank you to County Executive Baker and his administration for their leadership and commitment to enhancing and advancing Prince George's County! Wishing you well, K. Alexander Wallace Board Member, District 7
