Last night, I voted to save Forestville High School and Skyline Elementary School!

Last night, the Prince George's County Board of Education passed the CEO's proposed budget which includes funding for Skyline Elementary and Forestville High!

After a lively debate with great points from every Board member, I proudly voted for a budget that does not close two schools in District 7!

While it is clear that the budget adopted last night does not include the closing of Skyline and Forestville, this issue is far from over.

The PGCPS FY17 budget has to be adopted by the County Executive and passed by the County Council. Please contact their offices ASAP!

To the students, families, educators, and citizens of District 7:

I encourage you to continue expressing your concerns and perspectives. As your Board representative, I need your support moving forward. I come to you all to ask our county leaders to support the PGCPS FY17 budget!
