Saddened, Not Shocked.

I am deeply saddened by the decision not to criminally charge Officer Darren Wilson for the killing of Michael Brown.

While I am saddened, I am not shocked. This decision marks yet another moment in American history where the African American community sought out equality and justice, yet sadly it was met with a decision that many feared.

I join the family of Michael Brown and ask for peace and progression, not violence and destruction.

The Brown family are the ones who have lost the MOST in this ordeal and the LEAST we, as supporters and advocates, can do is to support and abide by their wishes.
