Back to School!

The Prince George's County Public School (PGCPS) system has opened its doors for another great year!

Today, students walk into classrooms filled with excitement, teachers arrive into schools filled with expectations, and families are eager to support their child(ren)'s new journey.

For many students, teachers, and administrators, today starts a brand new day at a brand new school; for some this is their first time in their new position!

Education is truly the measuring factor in a person's life and we must make sure that our students are learning with pride, our teachers are educating with passion, and our administrators are pushing their schools towards a purpose or universal goal.

A successful school and school year can only be achieved when the students, faculty, staff, AND community are deeply invested into the school and its success. That is something that we all can agree on!

I wish everyone in the PGCPS system the best of luck today and for the rest of the year.
